We are ZAP&BUJ a platform that works at the intersection between Architecture, Fashion and Technology from the experimentation in workshop with new materials (silicones, memory shape polymers, nitinol,...) and digital tolls (3D printing, laser cutting, ...) that make this approach possible. We understand Architecture and Fashion as "skins" that surround our body. The application of technology opens up new possibilities for the interaction between them. Why cannot Fashion respond to other standards, beyond the aesthetic ones, and connect people, surroundings and situations, with the purpose of improving people´s life?
We both have background as architects and fashion designers.
-2015- we met each other in postgraduate studies in Architecture, Fashion and Design at ETSAM-Madrid.
-2016- we found ZAP&BUJ fashion and architecture.
-2017- we won the Samsung Ego Innovation Projects at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid.
-2018 - we became finalist of Vogue Who´s on Next Spain-WON18, we were selected to show our last collection at EGO-MBFWM again, and we recieved Research and Design Honourable Mention at Iberoamerican Design Biennal BID 18
-2019- we became again finalist of Vogue Who´s on Next Spain-WON19.
